Jenny - Veterinary Assistant

As a Columbia native and graduate of Atholton High School, I’ve always had a deep love for animals.

I began working in the veterinary field as a veterinary assistant in 2018 and joined the team at Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital in May 2025. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is building trust and strong connections with our patients and their families.

I am currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician Program, working toward my certification with plans to eventually specialize in animal psychology or wildlife care. At home, I share my life with three beloved pets: my dog, Cooper, and two cats, Newt and Eve. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, reading, and crocheting.

I’m excited to be part of the Hickory Ridge team and look forward to continuing to grow in the field while providing compassionate care to every animal I meet.
