Dr. Emma Watts is a dedicated veterinarian who brings compassion, curiosity, and a collaborative approach to every patient interaction. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts University in 2015.
Dr. Watts has worked in general practice, a mobile clinic setting, and spent five years as a relief veterinarian, experiences that shaped her adaptable, detail-oriented approach to medicine and strengthened her ability to support a wide variety of patients and clinical teams. She has particular interests in preventative care and feline medicine, and she is passionate about creating individualized care plans while ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and confident in their pet’s treatment.
She is excited to be joining the team at Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital and is looking forward to building lasting relationships with patients and their families while providing thoughtful, high-quality care.
Outside of work, Dr. Watts enjoys reading and training her young dog, Daisy. She also shares her home with her two beloved senior cats, Fezzik and Bucket.
