Alec - Veterinary Assistant

I was born and raised in Bethesda, MD, but moved to Ellicott City before my junior year of high school. Once I graduated, I took a gap year and got a job at a dog daycare and boarding kennel. I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting pretty much my entire life. After being stuck about whether or not I should go back to school, starting a job in animal care really solidified what I wanted to do in the future. Now I have my first veterinary medicine job and I am planning to go back to school to get licensed as a credentialed veterinary technician! When I’m not working, I love to hang out at home and play video games with my boyfriend. I’m not a super outdoors-y person, but I love to go on drives with my music blasting and my windows down when the weather is nice. I have two pets, a little cavapoo named Kona and a ball python named Jynx!
