As a unique individual and an important member of your family, your furry friend deserves the utmost care and respect. While we understand that routine veterinary exams are important to help maintain a happy healthy life; our furry friends sometimes disagree. At Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital we take your friend's comfort very seriously. We make every effort to help ease your friend's anxiety by scheduling longer appointments and taking time in the waiting area and exam room to get to know them before rushing in to perform the exam. Just as you would want your own physician to do for you, we take our time and attempt to go at their pace. We pay close attention to their body language and other key signals to let us know if they are getting uncomfortable, and if possible, will avoid that situation.

We request 24 to 48 hours advance notice for all appointment cancellations.

As a courtesy to all of our clients, we request as much advance notice as possible for all appointment cancellations. If you must cancel an appointment with us, please do so at least 24 to 48 hours in advance. This enables us alert clients that may be on a waiting list. Thank you for helping us continue to provide excellent service for all of our valued patients and clients!

We request a minimum of 24 hours advance notice for all medication refills. Certain foods and special order items may require 7 days advance notice for processing and shipping.

In order to maintain excellent quality care, ensure patient safety, and avoid excess wait time; please give us at least 24 hours to fill any medication requests. This enables our staff to properly review, assess, and fulfill each request according to best practice standards.
